My Type of TYPE
My journey with typography has been one of exploration, discipline, and self-expression. I began by learning the foundations—grid systems, spacing, legibility—and those principles continue to ground my work. But as I’ve grown, I’ve found joy in pushing the boundaries: distorting, reimagining, and personalizing letterforms to reflect my own visual voice. I strive to create a style that is distinctly mine, but also stays within the rules of type—honoring its structure while challenging its limits. Typography is where logic meets emotion, and each project is a step in refining a language that speaks not only with clarity, but with character and intention.
Why I Chose This Work
This piece marks the start of my design journey—where everything began to click. Typography was my entry point into design, teaching me how form and meaning could work together. Through letters, I started to see the power of visual communication and the discipline behind creative choices. This early work may be simple, but it represents the foundation of my style and the curiosity that continues to drive my growth as a designer.
